With Season 6 of The Walking Dead set to debut this weekend, creator Robert Kirkman stopped by New York Comic Con to talk up the new season. And talk it up he did, promising "the most intense season so far." As TWD fans know, that's saying something.
He said that he's noticed that there are big cliffhangers at the end of every episode he's seen of the new season. "I'm watching cuts like 'Ahhhhh!'" he laughed.
The S6 debut will have a special premiere at New York City's Madison Square Garden on Friday, October 9. And while Kirkman was light on plot details about the new episodes, he did tease some broad strokes.
Viewers will see more of Rick interacting with "these people who live in this safe place, who have this misconception of how the world works now." That's Alexandria, of course, where Rick and his group came in and shook things up last year.
