The price of Netflix's most popular plan has been increased from $8.99 to $9.99 a month.
While the dollar increase won't affect existing customers until October of next year, the new monthly rate is now in effect for everyone else. The company confirmed the change in a post on Twitter.
@LaciePassmore So we can brig more great content to users, the price for the 2-stream is going from 8.99- 9.99 for new members.
