Evil Dead fans have cause to rejoice, as Ash vs Evil Dead makes its debut on Starz this Saturday. Returning as Ash Williams from the Evil Dead trilogy is, of course, Bruce Campbell – this time joined by Lucy Lawless, as a woman named Ruby who's not exactly happy with Ash.
I sat down with the two actors, reuniting from their days on Xena together, to talk all things Ash vs Evil Dead, including working with their longtime friends and collaborators -- Sam Raimi and Lawless' husband, Rob Tapert -- the amount of blood used on the show and much more.
As you might expect with these two, I often found them taking just a few words I'd said and running with it… And yes, that was as wonderfully entertaining as you also might expect.
