Apple has plans to release a 5.8-inch iPhone as part of a new hardware lineup set to debut in 2017.
According to a new report from 9to5Mac, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently published a note sharing new details about the unannounced phone. Aside from its slightly larger size, it would also have a curved OLED display with curved glass body, as well as a glass front/back and metal sides.
Additionally, the 5.8-inch iPhone will have a "completely new form factor design" with more narrow bezels. As for new features, it will come with wireless charging and biometric recognition, giving users another way to secure their device.
