Despite prior reports suggesting William Shatner would be sharing a scene with Chris Pine in Star Trek: Beyond, the original face of James T. Kirk says he will not be appearing in the film.
"There was never a conversation," Shatner told SFX Magazine (via GamesRadar), claiming he was at no point in talks to reprise his character in Justin Lin's upcoming sci-fi film.
