Ubisoft has today confirmed a closed beta for The Crew: Wild Run will begin on October 15 and last until October 19.
The closed beta will allow players to participate in The Crew: Wild Run's new event: The Summit. The Summit, which Ubisoft describes as "the largest challenge in a driving game to date", is a broad competition featuring a wide variety of vehicles (from motorcycles to monster trucks) and takes place in iconic locations all over the US. Beta players will be able to compete in both PvE and PVP races and missions, try the new vehicle specs (drag, monster trucks, and drift), and check out the new visual overhaul Ivory Tower has layered across the entire game.
The Crew: Wild Run will be available to download from November 17, and will be available at retail in a bundle with the base game. Ubisoft also notes that owners of The Crew will have access to the visual overhaul in a free update.
