Hi, I have recently bought a Zte blade a475 and everything is fine except for one thing and that thing is the very very low volume coming from the output jack when you connect an external device like a car stereo for example, but if i connect the headset everything is fine so i knew something weird was happening there so i decided to find out the problem.
when i connect the phone to an external speaker and press play in the music app i can hear a weird sound like a "plop" just before the music starts and then the volume goes down to almost 0, but when i connect the headset (headphones and mic) everything its fine and no "plop" sound so i realize that must be a software problem.
Also if you connect the aux cable just the half of the connector it detects the cable as a headset then insert the connector all the way down and everything plays just fine with no "plop" sound before the music starts but is annoying to do that all the time so heres the solution.
FIX:
This may work in other zte or chinese phones.
1.- Root your phone, use kingo root, king root or other method you know it works, both kingo and king worked for me.
2.- install No-frills CPU Control from play store
open the app
set governor to: Ondemand
set I/O Scheduler to: noop
Mark apply on boot and then apply and close the app
3.- Go to enginer mode: to do that dial *#*#3646633#*#* then go to hardware testing, select audio, select Headset Mode
In type go to media and set the settings like this:
Level 14 - value 0~255 to 215 and Set
Level 13 - value 0~255 to 205 and Set
Level 12 - value 0~255 to 195 and Set
Level 11 - value 0~255 to 190 and Set
Level 10 - value 0~255 to 184 and Set
Level 9 - value 0~255 to 172 and Set
Level 8 - value 0~255 to 164 and Set
Level 7 - value 0~255 to 152 and Set
Level 6 - value 0~255 to 144 and Set
Level 5 - value 0~255 to 132 and Set
Level 4 - value 0~255 to 124 and Set

Level 2 - value 0~255 to 84 and Set
Level 1 - value 0~255 to 72 and Set
Level 0 - value 0~255 to 64 and Set
Set the Max Vol. 0~160 to 112 and set
4.- Restart your phone and check that no frills is working with the selected settings.
