So I have been using my s2 since 2012 and loved every minute of it. About a year ago while happily running cm12 or 13 with what i believe was stock kernel, my phone suddenly froze and died.
It would hang on bootlogo, wouldn't get into recovery, charging logo would hang while the phone was off and even a usb jig would do nothing. About a week ago I took my s2 out of storage to touch it for nostalgia and WHAM, It got into download mode! Ez peazy I thought, I just flash a working recovery and Im using my s2 again!:victory:
WRONG. Odin doesn't seem to recognize the phone, when I plug it into usb not even windows responds. It's like it isn't even registering that i plugged something in.
Tried 3 different usb cables. All of them work fine on my galaxy Ace and Odin recognizes that phone just fine so samsung drivers must be ok right?:eek:
Any ideas?
