In a recent interview with Famitsu, Final Fantasy creator and Mistwalker Corporation Hironobu Sakaguchi discussed his plans for 2016, including a new title.
The unannounced title was only teased, as Sakaguchi said he would be advancing production on it alongside Terra Battle, Mistwalker's mobile strategy title.
The Mistwalker CEO also discussed what 2016 holds for Terra Battle, which includes new chapters and a special scenario created by Final Fantasy XII designer Yasumi Matsuno.
An original title might be expected, as Sakaguchi discussed why he dislikes sequels in an interview with IGN earlier this year.
